01 Overview
Quizora turns a topic, pasted notes, a photo, or a PDF into a practice quiz. The app does not require an account.
02 Information stored on your device
Until you delete it or uninstall the app, Quizora stores the following on your device:
- Quizzes you generate, your answers, scores, and attempt history
- Settings such as theme, default question count, difficulty, and language
- An optional profile name, email address, and photo, if you choose to add them
That profile stays on the device. Those profile details are not sent to PubNexus.
03 Quiz generation
When you generate a quiz, the app sends the topic or study text you submit to Quizora’s quiz service over HTTPS. Photos and PDFs are read on your device first. The app sends the extracted text, not the original photo or PDF file.
The quiz service uses that text to create questions and explanations, including through a third-party AI provider. Do not submit material you are not allowed to share. Generated questions may be incomplete or incorrect.
04 Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process an advertising identifier, device information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data to deliver, measure, and secure ads.
05 On-device text reading
Photos and PDFs can be read on your device with Google ML Kit so the app can turn them into quiz text. That reading happens on the device.
06 Permissions
- Internet: quiz generation and ads
- Camera, optional: scan notes. The camera is not required to use the app.
07 Security and deletion
Quiz requests are sent over encrypted HTTPS. You can delete a saved quiz in the app. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it removes quizzes, history, settings, and the optional profile from the device.
To ask about data sent while generating a quiz, use the delete-data page.
08 Children
Quizora is not directed at children under 13 and does not offer accounts for children. If you believe a child sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will review the request.
09 Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date when we do.
